Big Love: The Rest

2009 March 13

Yeah, I kinda got ahead of myself and spoiled some of this week in previous spoilers/speculation.

Anyway, here’s “The Rest”

Any further updates will be posted here or in comments.

  • Outer Darkness

Nicki goes home; but is disappointed (after getting her hopes up when Bill calls her and Margene and Barb visit) -so it’s back to the compound with Nicki (evidently, since next week’s guide places her at the compound)

Scott makes an appearance.

Joey=still angry (now at Bill), because Bill has a “change of heart” concerning Roman….all because of a kidnapping involving the Greenes.

Excommunication hearing for Barb-thanks to Cindy and Ted…you know….Ted, that upstanding citizen who now wants a piece of the gaming action.

  • Sacrament

Look for Sarah to be “making an announcement” ….after that visit from Scott.

Guess who comes to see Nicki (the subject of much rumor this season)

Bill….the man with out a clue a plan, gets Ray Henry involved with Roman; and the Greene kidnapping thing. He also has an endgame for Ted and the casino deal in mind. Eat it Ted, Barb’s more important. (wow Bill is full of surprises….he puts someone before himself for once)

Strong speculation that there will be fatal consequences with Alby’s plan for a final power grab.

    hmmmm twisted thought:
Alby throwing Holly Hobbie clothes on the bed, I was thinkin’
If that were me I’d be looking for the ropes coming out next
Dunno why, it just crossed my mind at the time.
Maybe just the way he threw down the ultimate wardrobe selection so forcefully.
Oh take me now Alby…and my gingham

    Next week:
    JJ

    the plot thickens

I don’t think we’ve seen the last of that “Joy Book” page Nicki swiped. Just a thought.

Should I be disturbed that I’ve gone from being creeped out by Alby to kinda rooting for him
in a twisted sort of way?

This finale needs to be at least 2hours long.

More thoughts after 2nd viewing. (or as they come to me)

I just watched it for a second time…and I think many of the threads will come together with Nikki revealing her past marriage & daughter:

    - Ray will take pity on her as a former child-bride and drop the investigation (out comes the page from the Joy Book as proof…and perhaps charges against Roman)

    - Bill & Barb will take her back, as long as she “gets help”

I’d put my money on Alby for the death (Laura’s concern in the preview says it all). That could set up JJ to be the power-monger against Roman next season…

Oh, and look for Nikki’s daughter next season to be facing the prospect of Roman marrying her off…!!

If I’m right on any of this, I should become a writer for HBO!

    …and there we have it.

    Except can Alby live?
It would be a shame for Alby to go as he is one of the best characters.

*I’m getting a lot of variations of the search term “Big Love Don dies”
If that’s the case, I’m cool with it.

Two votes for the Joy Book!

Anyone else getting a second (Prom Queen was the first IMO) Napoleon Dynamite reference with the bracelet sales thing? Reminds me of the boondoggle key chains.

I’ve been on vacation so haven’t visited but I havce to say the last couple episodes were awesome!

Alby: I too was actually liking him a little more as the season went on.

Nikki: I like where they left off on her story with the daughter. Of course that makes JJ a recurring villain next season but thats cool.

Roman: I was sad to see him go. He was a good villain, but I think they did everything could possibly due with him without repeating so its a good time to see him off. Now I wonder who will take control of the compound witj him dead and Alby possibly incapacitated.

Bill: Well played against Ted but he may regret not trusting Margene.

Future story arcs: I like that Nikki’s dauhter is lving with them. I wonder if with Roman’s death that Bill will be asked to be the next prophet since I can see them turning to him. What about Hollis green?

I can’t wait for next season.

    I can’t wait either!
“Big Love” has officially become my favorite program; although I am glad “Rescue Me” has a lot of episodes this season.
(may this season be better than the last)

I like your thoughts on the Nikki storyline and how they really have done all they could have done with Roman.

Hope your vacation was good. Me? Been on a vacation around here…sorry guys. Life called.

Right now: watching “The Biggest Loser”
    Rooting for Tara and Mike

Ever since the time change, TBL’s feed has not been a good spoiler source. (just thought I’d toss that in there)

You’re right! He has the Billy-Bob Thornton look about him.

It just hit me who JJ reminds me of.
